On Friday, February 8 the West Springfield Fire Department recognized UITP for the donation of a custom cover for its utility task vehicle. Fabricated by C & L Canvas, a sub-division of United, the cover will protect both a valuable piece of equipment and its operators.
Fire Chief William Flaherty and Mayor William Reichelt were on hand to present a plaque to the company, which was accepted by Wayne M. Perry, Production Manager. Perry had this to say, “United has been a proud member of the West Springfield Community for over 60 years. We are happy to support the West Springfield Fire Department and all of the first responders who keep our community safe.”
